New Bloomfield, MO : Kevin Rackers, age 50, died and two others injured in a single car accident near 2817 County Road on Saturday night, Sep 19, 2015

A New Bloomfield man was killed in a single car accident late Saturday night, according to the Missouri State Police.

Kevin Rackers, age 50, was pronounced dead, while two other passengers were described in serious condition and taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

The crash report says the 1991 Jeep Wrangler driven by Rackers travelled up a “steep embankment” on private property near 2817 County Road in New Bloomfield. The report further states the vehicle “struck a tree, overturned and rolled down the embankment.”

Listed as injured were passengers Robert Odneal, age 45, of Jefferson City, and Ashtin Withers, age 21, of New Bloomfield.
