LATHAM, NY : Fatal motorcycle crash on Troy Schenectady Road near the intersection of Sylvan Avenue on Saturday, 1st June 2019

A fatal motorcycle crash happened on Troy Schenectady Road near the intersection of Sylvan Avenue.

Colonie Police, Colonie EMS, and the Latham Fire Department responded to the scene. Police say the call came in around 9 o’clock for a one vehicle, single operator accident.

The crash took place near Andy Vosburg Auto Repair.

Police blocked off a portion of the road between Glenwood Drive and Swattling Road. Traffic has been reduced to one lane.

West bound traffic has been closed off, and will remain closed for the duration of the investigation.
