Orlando ,FL :Bicyclist killed after fatal crash with car on Saturday Morning ,September 12th 2015

Florida Highway Patrol troopers were investigating a fatal crash Saturday involving a car and a bicycle.

Authorities said the crash happened at State Road 436 and Hanging Moss Road about 11:30 a.m.

Investigators said a car being driven by Eric Febres Alicea , 33, of Winter Park, was traveling north on S.R. 436 when it drove onto a raised median and struck the bicyclist.

The bicyclist died at the scene. The name of the victim was not immediately released.

Febres Alicea was arrested and faces a DUI manslaughter charge. A blood sample was taken to determine if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
