JACKSONVILLE, FL : A 24-year-old man died and a second was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Tuesday, May 30, 2017

A 24-year-old man died and a second was injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle rollover crash at the exit from the Hart Expressway to University Boulevard, according to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.

Both victims were ejected from car, which landed on its side off in the eastbound shoulder of the highway about 12:08 a.m. JFRD said the second person was taken to Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified the man who died as Timothy King, who lived in an apartment on Lenox Avenue. Police have not identified the second person in the car or said which one was driving.

Eastbound traffic on the expressway was closed at University Boulevard while Jacksonville police investigated the crash. Lanes reopened by 5 p.m.
