Los Angeles,CA : Inglewood man struck, killed by car in Lennox on August, Sunday 27th 2017

A 53-year-old man was struck and killed Sunday by a motorist in the Lennox community of unincorporated Los Angeles County.

The pedestrian was identified as Raymundo Hernandez of Inglewood, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Hernandez was crossing Inglewood Avenue, north of Lennox Boulevard, in a westerly direction a little before 2 a.m. when he was struck by a 2013 Nissan Rouge that was going southbound on Inglewood Avenue, about 30 to 35 miles per hour.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorist stayed at the scene of the crash and cooperated with authorities. The CHP’s West Angeles office asked anyone who saw the accident to call them at (310) 642-3939.
