Colorado Springs, CO : A woman killed in a wreck near Austin Bluffs Parkway on Wednesday, 4th April 2018

Colorado Springs police have identified a woman killed Wednesday in a wreck near Austin Bluffs Parkway and Rangewood Drive after another driver reportedly ran a stop sign.

"Despite lifesaving attempts," Brianna Templeton, 25, of Lone Tree, the driver of a Ford Fiesta, died in the 8:49 a.m. crash.

Morgan Deluna, 19, of Colorado Springs, was southbound on Austin Bluffs Parkway in a Jeep Grand Cherokee when she ran a stop sign at Rangewood Drive, police said.

The Jeep slammed into the driver's side of the Ford, which was turning northbound onto Austin Bluffs Parkway from Rangewood, police said.

Templeton was wearing her seat belt.
