FOWLER, CA : 1 person killed after crash on Highway 99 on July, Friday 21th 2017

One person is dead after the Highway Patrol said a driver tried to pass a big rig near Fowler-- it happened at Highway 99 and Clovis.

Investigators said their car was wedged under the tractor trailer when they were ejected from the vehicle.

The CHP said they do not believe the man was wearing a seat belt. His identity has not yet been released; however, he is described as being between 30 and 35-years-old.
