Findlay,OH : Two hospitalized after crash on October, Friday 20th 2017
Two area residents remained hospitalized in serious condition Sunday following a single-car crash in Delaware Township at 7:43 a.m. Friday, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said.
The driver, Carson Klingler, 18, of Upper Sandusky, was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, by LifeFlight helicopter from Blanchard Valley Hospital.
Her passenger, Jase Lauck, 16, of Arlington, was taken to Blanchard Valley, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office reported that Klingler’s Mazda Protege went off the right side of Hancock County 8, south of Hancock County 24.
The motorist overcorrected and the car returned to the road, slid off the left side of the road and rolled several times before landing on its top in a bean field.
The driver was ejected from the Mazda, while the passenger was partially ejected, a sheriff’s deputy reported. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Hanco Ambulance, Delaware Township Fire Department and Dick’s Towing also were dispatched to this scene. The accident remained under investigation Sunday.
