Lincoln, NE : A multi-vehicle crash north of the Norris campus on Wednesday, October, 25th 2017

A Norris School District student was flown to a Lincoln hospital with serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash north of the Norris campus Wednesday afternoon.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on South 68th Street just before 4 p.m. The crash involved five vehicles, three driven by students and two by adults picking up students from school.

Two Norris students were taken to Bryan West Campus by ambulance.

The Sheriff's Office said the chain-reaction crash was the result of vehicles slowing for an earlier crash.
