Lubbock, TX : 1 injured in two-vehicle crash involving tractor trailer in Southeast Lubbock County on Monday morning, February 13, 2017

A Lubbock woman suffered unknown injuries after her vehicle collided with a semi tractor-trailer in Southeast Lubbock County on Monday morning.

Peyton Lee Dixon, 24, was taken to University Medical Center following the crash, which occurred at about 7 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 84 and FM 1585, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. John Gonzalez.

Gonzalez says Dixon was traveling in eastbound lanes in an SUV when she struck the right rear of the the trailer with the left front of her vehicle as the truck attempted to turn left from eastbound lanes to travel west on U.S. 84.

The driver of the truck, 43-year-old Donald McVey of Colorado City, was uninjured.

The crash is under investigation, and no further information was released.
