A Greenville woman was injured after her vehicle struck a ditch and overturned in Daviess County.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. 431.

Kentucky State Police say 26-year-old Samantha Sailing was headed south and lost control of her vehicle. The car struck an embankment and overturned multiple times.

Troopers say Sailing had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire and ems crews. She was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
