One vehicle was destroyed and another damaged in a Saturday afternoon crash that sent a Rutland man to the hospital as a precaution.

State police said Bernard M. Hussey, 61, of Rutland was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center with possible minor injuries before they arrived at the scene of a crash that totaled the pickup truck he was driving on Route 155 shortly after 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said the other driver, Carolyn Craig, 73, of Concord, N.H. and all three of her passengers were unharmed.
