One person was killed in a vehicle accident in north Charlotte Thursday evening, according to Medic.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Brookshire Boulevard near I-77. Officials have not released many details, but confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not clear if any other injuries were reported.
Traffic was backed up while crews worked the scene.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the wreck or if any charges are being filed.
