LYON COUNTY, KS : Elderly Kansas man killed in Lyon County bike accident on Friday, 26th May 2023

An elderly Kansas man died following a bicycle accident in Lyon County.

82-year-old Michael Welch, of McPherson, was found unresponsive in the 100 Block of Road U on May 26.

Lyon County emergency crews say Welch was unresponsive when they arrived and CPR was attempted.

He was then declared dead at the scene.
