Owensboro,KY : Hayden succumbs to injuries suffered in cycling accident on may, Monday 22th 2017

Owensboro's Nicky Hayden, a wildly-popular motorcycle racer who ascended to the greatest heights of his sport, died Monday, the result of injuries suffered when he was struck by a car while riding a bicycle Wednesday in Italy.

Hayden, the 2006 MotoGP world champion, was 35.
