Sheboygan, WI : A pedestrian died after being hit by a van at I-43 in Sheboygan County On Wednesday, May 18th, 2016

A pedestrian died early Wednesday morning after being hit by a van in Sheboygan County.
The incident happened around 12:45 a.m. on northbound Interstate 43 near State Highway 28 in the town of Wilson, according to the sheriff's office.

Authorities have not said why the victim was on the interstate at the time, but officials said they don't believe foul play is involved.

The northbound lanes of I-43 were closed for about an hour, but they've since reopened to drivers.
