COVENTRY, RI : Coventry bicyclist injured in crash with vehicle dies on June, Saturday 24th 2017

Police in Rhode Island say a bicyclist who was seriously injured in a crash last week has died.

Coventry Police Chief John MacDonald said Saturday that 36-year-old Christopher Ziobrowski died Wednesday afternoon at Rhode Island Hospital after he was taken off life support.

Police say Ziobrowski, of Coventry, had been listed in critical condition since Monday’s crash involving a motor vehicle. WPRI-TV reports that witnesses say Ziobrowski was hit by an SUV when he attempted to switch lanes.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.
