Little Rock, AR : 3 reported dead in I-40 crash involving 18-wheelers on Tuesday, 24th April 2018

Westbound Interstate 40 remains closed after a collision between 18-wheelers on Tuesday afternoon killed both drivers and one passenger.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation reported about 9 p.m. that one lane was back open, but it said a short time later that that information was incorrect and the westbound highway remained shut.

Both eastbound lanes, however, were reported to be open.

The wreck happened shortly before 3:40 p.m.
