The Dorchester County Coroner has identified the man killed in a crash early Monday morning on I-26.
Jesus De La Cruz Carbajal, 29, of North Charleston was killed when his 2008 Honda Civic ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree at 4:51 a.m, according to Dorchester County Coroner Paul Brouthers.
It happened near mile marker 174 eastbound, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Matt Southern.
The driver and two passengers were transported to the hospital.De La Cruz Carbajal was in the back seat and passed away, Southern said.
