Woman, 27, killed in Interstate 4 crash in Hillsboro Beach Florida
A 27-year-old woman was killed in an early morning crash on Interstate-4 in Hillsborough County.The accident happened at 3:28 a.m. near the 10 milepost.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2002 Dodge Ram, driven by 52-year-old Wayde Clayton Davis, of Lutz, going westbound on I-4 hit a 2001 PT Cruiser from behind.
Mai Amer D Alahmadi, 27, a rear passenger in the Cruiser, was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where she later died.
Davis was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released. There were no other injuries reported.FHP said charges are pending and the crash remains under investigation.
