Winston-Salem,NC : Man dies after two-vehicle collision in High Point on March, Saturday 24th 2018

A man died after the car he was a passenger in collided with a minivan Saturday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m., Timothy D. Brown, 52, was riding with Stephen M. Eller, 49, in a 2017 Alfa Romero Giulia going down Westchester Drive from Phillips Avenue heading toward Chestnut Drive when Eller lost control of the car, according to a police news release.
The car spun 180 degrees and traveled into oncoming traffic. The rear of the car collided with the front of a Kia minivan.
Brown died as a result of injuries from the the wreck. The driver and sole occupant of the Kia was transported to High Point Regional Hospital for minor injuries. Eller suffered minor injuries that did not require treatment.
The High Point Police Department Traffic Unit is currently conducting an investigation into the crash. At this point in the investigation, impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor. Other aspects such as weather conditions and speed are yet to be determined.
Investigators stated it appears that Brown was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
