Maryville, TN : Louisville man dies in wreck on February, Sunday 18th 2018

A Louisville man died after colliding with a tree as he traveled on Miser Station Road on Sunday morning, according to Blount County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael Clark Jones, 22, Miser Station Road, Louisville, was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to BCSO, Jones was traveling west on Miser Station Road around 5:30 a.m. when he crossed over the center line and veered off the left side of the road.

Jones’ car traveled about 40 feet before striking a tree head-on. Although the vehicle’s airbags did deploy, Jones was not wearing a seat belt.

The BCSO traffic safety unit is continuing to investigate the accident.
