One person remains in critical condition following a head-on crash in Vidor,
Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, two cars were involved in a collision at the intersection of Texas 12 and Evangeline Lane, Police Chief Rod Carroll said. One person had to be extracted from the vehicle by emergency crews, Carroll said. Acadian Ambulance Services transported six people to the hospital.Five people have since been released but one remains in the intensive care unit, Carroll said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No charges have been filed yet.
