Phoenix, AZ : Father dies from injuries in motorcycle crash on Saturday, November 22, 2014

A 37-year-old man died early Sunday morning from injuries suffered when the motorcycle he and his daughter were riding collided with the back of a pickup truck Saturday. Robert Dehart and his 15-year-old daughter were riding north on 35th Avenue approaching El Camino Drive about 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the pickup truck in front of them slowed to make a right turn, Phoenix police Officer James Holmes said. The motorcycle failed to stop and struck the back of the truck. Dehart and his daughter were wearing helmets, Holmes said, but Dehart suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was taken off life support just after midnight, Holmes said. His daughter was bruised but otherwise all right, Holmes said. Source : Father dies from injuries in motorcycle crash
