Easton,MD : Trappe accident sends one to hospital on August, Friday 11th 2017
Two Cambridge men were involved in an accident on U.S. Route 50 in Trappe early Friday morning, Aug. 11, according to Maryland State Police.
Police said troopers with the Maryland State Police Easton Barracks responded to mile marker 75 in Trappe around 5:45 a.m. Friday for a two-vehicle collision on Route 50 west.
Police said a 2003 Nissan Maxima, operated by Bryan L. Burton, 30, of Cambridge was traveling west on Route 50 in the area of mile marker 75 when his vehicle hit the rear of a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck also traveling west, driven by Wallace Richardson Willey Jr., 48, of Cambridge.
After Willey’s vehicle was hit, Burton’s vehicle continued to travel west and ran off the road, colliding with a tree in the front yard of 3019 Ocean Gateway, Trappe.
