BIRMINGHAM, AL : 3 transported after Birmingham crash involving U-Haul on Friday, 8th March 2024

3 people were transported to local hospitals following a crash involving a U-Haul in Birmingham Friday afternoon.

According to Birmingham Fire and Rescue, the U-Haul struck a structural column of a parking deck at Cortland Vesta Apartments on Highland Avenue. The resulting crash sent two passengers of the U-Haul to local hospitals and trapped the driver. Crews, with the assistance of Weil Wrecker, were able to extricate the driver, who was also transported to a local hospital.
