Multiple fatalities, including children, in Rowan County crash

Police in a North Carolina town say another person has died from injuries suffered when an SUV crashed into a tree, raising the death toll to six.The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of 11th Street and South Rowan Avenue in Spencer. First responders found a GMC Acadia crashed into a tree and on fire, WCNC reported.Nine people were in the GMC Envoy that crashed Friday night in the Rowan County town of Spencer, about 50 miles northeast of Charlotte. Spencer police say 8-year-old Taliah Williams died Sunday night at Brenners Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem after being taken off life support.
Authorities earlier identified the driver as 28-year-old Angela Monique Dunlap of Spencer, who killed. Also killed were 25-year-old Sean Jacobs and 4-year-old Karizma Sexton, who shared the same Salisbury address; and 10-year-old Daja Cathcart and 45-year-old Vincent McNeal of Salisbury.
Three other children were injured.
