Norwalk, CT : One person died and three injured in a two-car crash in Norwalk on Sunday, June 21, 2015

Police have identified the woman who died in Sunday's Belden Avenue crash as Doris Ramirez-Giraldo, 49, of Norwalk.

The accident, which also seriously injured three other people, occurred on Belden Avenue at the Route 7 off ramp at 3:17 a.m., according to Sgt. Terry Blake, Community Services Unit, Norwalk Department of Police Service.

A sedan carrying two people exited Route 7 onto Belden Avenue and collided with another sedan, also carrying two, according to police.

Arriving officers found a serious two-car crash with multiple victims and began providing medical aid.

Four people were transported from the scene to the Norwalk Hospital by ambulance.

Ramirez-Giraldo later died from her injuries at the hospital. Information on the condition of the three other victims was not made available.
