Tuscaloosa, AL : Vance man dies in early morning car crash on Saturday, 24th September 2016

A 31-year-old Vance man died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa County, according to state troopers.

Arnulfo Tlehuactle-Mayahua was driving a 2000 Dodge Neon that left the road and struck several trees around 1:30 a.m., troopers said.

A news release states that he was partially ejected from his car and pronounced dead on the scene.

The release says he was not wearing a seat belt. A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver's speed contributed to the crash.

The crash happened on Ed Stephens Road, nine miles north of Tuscaloosa.
