Gaston County, NC : Seven people injured in single-vehicle crash along Interstate 85 on Monday night August 10th 2015

Seven people were injured, two of them thrown from the vehicle, during a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 85 Southbound Monday night.
According to the Gastonia Fire Department, the crash happened near exit 17 around 7:30 p.m.
Seven people, including two children, were in the vehicle when it hit a guardrail, overturning and crashing into the woods.
Two people were thrown from the vehicle, one person became trapped.
Gastonia Fire Department rescue personnel freed the trapped passenger and all seven people were taken to Caromont Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
