Two men were injured Thursday in a two-car collision on Route 422 in Indiana County.
A car being driven by Christopher Messner Jr. of Hollidaysburg in Pine Township at 6:20 a.m. braked to avoid striking a car that had stopped for a deer on the road. A car being driven by Joseph Bopp of Mineral Point crashed into the rear of Messner's stopped car, state police said.
Bopp was released from Conemaugh Hospital after treatment, a hospital spokeswoman said. His passenger, Albert Potter Jr. of South Fork was taken to UPMC Altoona, where a spokeswoman said he was in fair condition. Messner was uninjured.
Ages for those involved in the crash and the types of cars they were driving were not released by police.
