LAS VEGAS, NV : Hit-and-run driver injures 2, destroys mailbox in North Las Vegas on Sunday, 13th October 2024

North Las Vegas police are investigating a hit-and-run that left 2 people injured Sunday night.

The crash was captured on surveillance footage shared with FOX5 and shows the driver fleeing the scene. The crash occurred after 8 p.m. in a private neighborhood near Losee Road and Lone Mountain.

A red Ford pickup truck can be seen driving in reverse before taking off down the road and crashing into multiple mailboxes before slamming into a white car. The white car’s driver and passenger were left with serious injuries following the crash, and the mailboxes appeared to be destroyed.

The injured driver also told FOX5 they had never seen the truck before. NLVPD tells FOX5 that the suspect vehicle appears to be a Ford Super Duty F250 or F350, but a driver has yet to be identified.
