JENNINGS COUNTY, IN : 75-year-old woman hospitalized after crashing into garage on Wednesday, 21st February 2024

A woman is in the hospital after crashing her car into a garage Wednesday afternoon.

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an accident around 6 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 3 South and County Road 400 South.

On the scene, they found a car that had crashed through a garage. The driver, a 75-year-old woman named Wanda Ostrom was treated on the scene and transported to the hospital.

The JCSO said alcohol is believed to be a factor, but the investigation is still ongoing and possible charges are pending.
