Colorado Springs, CO : Motorcyclist killed in Colorado Springs crash on Sunday, Nov 22, 2015

Colorado Springs police have identified a motorcyclist who died Sunday in a crash as 55-year-old Bradley Blower of Colorado Springs.

Police also said that Richard Chavez, 49, of Colorado Springs was cited with careless driving resulting in death.

Just before 4 p.m. Sunday, Blower was headed westbound through the intersection at Airport and Chelton roads when he was hit by a car turning left.

Blower died of his injuries.

Investigations into the accident shut down the road for several hours Sunday afternoon.
