A motorcyclist was pronounced dead Sunday at the scene of a crash in Clermont County, according to state highway troopers.
Lt. W.V. Price, with the Batavia post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, said the crash involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle that collided around 2 p.m. Sunday on Ohio 133 at Twin Bridges Road in Williamsburg Township.
Price said 55-year-old Kenneth Jackson, of Cincinnati, was traveling along Twin Bridges Road in his 2015 Toyota pickup when he failed to yield at a stop sign, striking a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 66-year-old Joe Carroll, of Hamersville, Ohio.
Carroll was pronounced dead at the scene, Price said.
Impairment did not appear to be a factor in the case, but Carroll did not appear to be wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, Price said.
Troopers were continuing to investigate the crash Sunday evening.
