ROCHESTER, NH : Three injured in Rochester crash on Wednesday, February 8th 2017
Three people were injured in a collision on Rochester Hill Road and Dora Drive on Wednesday evening, according to Rochester Police.
Police said Meagan Rice, age 32 of Rochester, was driving a 2010 Honda Accord and was making a left turn onto Dora Drive when her car was struck from the rear by a 2004 Honda CRV operated, by Veronica Gauthier, age 47, of Rochester.
The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and both had to be towed from the scene, police said. Rice and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with unspecified but non-life threatening injuries, according to police. Gauthier received minor injuries but refused the services of EMS, police said.
According to police, the only person that was restrained in the vehicles was a 1-year-old child, who was not injured in the collision. Air bags did deploy in both vehicles, police said.
