Hitchcock, OK : Two children killed in a car crash in Blaine County on Thursday morning, May 19, 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Thursday morning that left a boy and girl dead in Blaine County.

Officials said the one-vehicle crash occurred just after 9 a.m. on northbound County Road 2670, less than a mile south of eastbound County Road 0720.

The two children killed were 2- and 4-years-old, and from Kingfisher.

The woman driving the vehicle was identified as Cristina Dyck, 18, of Copeland, Kansas.

Crews are still investigating the cause and events of the crash.
