Bloomington, IN : A Bloomington man was killed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017

A Bloomington man was killed Monday morning when his motorcycle struck a truck on West U.S. 50.

Roger D. Newhart, 59, was driving a 2007 Honda motorcycle westbound on U.S. 50 at 9:36 a.m. when the crash happened. Newhart's motorcycle went left of center for unknown reasons and struck an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet CT3 truck, according to a Lawrence County police report.
