Charlotte, NC : Two people were killed in a crash on early Sunday October 26th 2014.

Two people were killed in a crash on the 3300 block of West Arrowood Road early Sunday morning. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police say Billy Blackwelder, 25, was speeding and lost control of his 1993 Jeep Cherokee in a curve. The Jeep ran off the road into the center median and crossed both eastbound lanes of traffic before finally hitting a tree head-on. Both Blackwelder and Eric Morris,26, who was riding in the front passenger seat, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Kathleen Copenhaver, 18, who was riding in the back seat, was taken to CMC-Main for her injuries. Source : Two killed in early morning crash
