Dothan,AL : No injuries reported in Holmes County school bus accident on January, Monday 22nd 2018

A Monday morning fender bender involving a Holmes County school bus and a 16-year-old motorist resulted in a careless driving citation for the 16-year-old, but no one was hurt.

According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. when a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 16-year-old Bonifay resident failed to maintain a proper distance from the school bus, which had stopped on State Road 79, had its flashing lights activated and was preparing to load students onto the bus.
