2 dead, 1 in hospital after fatal wrong-way crash in Martin County

Northbound lanes were closed for several hours Wednesday morning on I-95 near Kanner Highway at mile marker 100 for a deadly wrong-way crash involving up to 3 vehicles.Two people confirmed dead. One person remains in the hospital at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
FHP dispatch reports the initial call around 1:50am Wednesday morning. Officials arrived on scene along with fire rescue at approximately 2:03am. Debris littered the area as crews continued to clear the scene.Traffic is being diverted to Bridge Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area as the investigation is expected to take several hours. Take the Turnpike, US-1 or another alternate route.One lane reopened around 10:00am.
