Man killed after motorcycle accident on Joor Road in Baton Rouge Louisiana

A motorcyclist has died as a result of a traffic accident involving a vehicle at 11627 Joor Road.According to East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, a man was traveling on his motorcycle, heading north, when he struck a vehicle that was attempting to make a turn. Deputies report the driver of the vehicle was taken to the nearest hospital with non life-threatening injuries.The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.Neither have yet been identified.Deputies say the crash is under investigation; however, they believe speeding was a factor in the incident.We will keep you updated as more information develops.
