Cherry Hill, NJ : Three people killed in a Single vehicle crash on New Jersey Turnpike on Thursday, January 22, 2015
State police are providing more details on a single-vehicle crash that killed three people on the New Jersey Turnpike.
State Police spokesman Sgt. Jeff Flynn says the Jeep Grand Cherokee with three adults was headed south when it crashed in Cherry Hill just after 7 a.m. Thursday.
Police say a preliminary investigation has shown that the Jeep was in the left lane when it veered onto the shoulder then went across the highway and off the road to the right, going down an embankment and striking a tree.
The three occupants of the Jeep, all males, were pronounced dead at the scene at a little before 8 a.m. Their names have not been released pending identification.
An investigation is continuing.
