Mt. Hope, WV :Person ejected in car accident near Crossroads Mall on Tuesday, July 7th 2015

Dispatchers said one person was ejected after a car accident.It happened at about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday on Robert C. Byrd Drive in front of Crossroads Mall.Dispatchers said two vehicles were involved in the accident.Deputies told our crew on scene the female driver of a Buick car crossed in front of a Dodge Ram pick-up truck. The truck's driver swerved to avoid hitting the Buick, causing him to hydroplane. The truck went over an embankment, landing in the Crossroads Mall parking lot. Bradley Volunteer Fire Department, Raleigh County Sheriff's deputies and Jan Care Ambulance responded to the scene.The women in the Buick were transported to Raleigh General Hospital with minor injuries.The man driving the pick-up truck was transported to RGH. He is listed in critical, but stable condition.The names of those involved have not been released.We'll continue to follow this developing story.
