METAIRIE, LA : A woman was killed and several people were injured when her car crashed with a mini-bus on Saturday, 9th December 2023

A fatal crash on I-10 West Saturday morning left one woman dead and several injured.

Louisiana State Police said the crash happened around 11 a.m. near the Causeway Boulevard exit and identified the victim as 34-year-old Brittany M. Delpit.

Troopers said Delpit was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt and when she entered the exit lane, she lost control of the car and hit a crash attenuator. The impact caused Delpit's car to spin across the westbound lanes of I-10.
