KANSAS CITY, MO : Driver hospitalized in crash with police car in KCMO on Monday, 24th June 2024

A driver was hospitalized following a crash with a police car Monday morning in Kansas City.

Police said a marked police Ford Explorer was driving northbound on Woodland for non-emergency purposes when a white Mitsubishi Endeavor traveling westbound on 57th Street and failed to stop at a stop sign.

The Mitsubishi was struck by the police car, resulting in the driver and sole occupant of the car being transported to a local hospital following the crash at 9:40 a.m. Monday.

KCPD said the injuries to the Mitsubishi driver were non-life-threatening.
