Tucson, AZ : Fatal crash involving motorcyclist shuts down portion of Grant Road on Monday, 16th December, 2019

A motorcyclist died in a crash Monday afternoon on Tucson's east side, police say.

A man has been pronounced dead on scene after the crash, police said.

Eastbound Grant Road, east of North Wilmot Road is shut down due to the incident, according to the Tucson Police Department.

Motorists should use an alternate route.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
