Hutchinson, KS : One injured in hit-and-run rear-end crash in Sedgwick County on Wednesday, July 20, 2016
One person was possibly hurt in a hit-and-run, rear-end crash in Sedgwick County on Wednesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, around 1:05 p.m., Debra M. Vogt, 60, of Newton, was stopped on I-135 at milepost 8.8, and Charly A . New, 34, of Derby, was stopped behind her.
A vehicle rear-ended New, and then New propelled into Vogt. The vehicle that caused the crash left the scene. New was sent to Wesley Medical Center with possible injuries. Vogt was not injured.
New was discharged from Wesley’s care. They both were wearing seat belts.
