Waterloo,IA : Three hurt in Floyd County crash on November, Thurssday 30th 2017

Three people were transported after a transit bus collided with a Jeep on the Avenue of the Saints near Rudd Thursday.

The accident occurred after 3 p.m. when the bus headed northbound on Glass Avenue collided with a westbound car on U.S. 18. according to Iowa State Patrol.

Two people from the bus were transported along with the driver of the Jeep. The bus was carrying two passengers.

The male driver of the Jeep is considered in critical condition. The passenger in the Jeep went in the ambulance with the man, according to a reporter at the scene.


The three were transported to Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa. Conditions of those injured are not immediately available.

Law enforcement has not identified those involved. Additional details are not available at this time.

Floyd County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
