Franklin, N.H : Road reopens after Car hits utility pole in Franklin on Sunday morning, January 11, 2015
New Hampton Road in Franklin was closed Sunday morning, after a car hit a utility pole. The crash happened in front of No. 36.
The Franklin Fire Department said the call came in just after 2 a.m. Sunday. The driver was alone in the vehicle at the time. The driver did sustain minor injuries, and was transported to Franklin Hospital.
The collision damaged the utility pole, causing a wire to hang low. Nearby homes did not lose power.
PSNH was on scene to restore the utility pole. Franklin police are investigating the cause of the accident.
New Hampton Road reopened at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
